About me
My name is Hari Krishan
I qualified in Ayurveda Diet and Lifestyle Management with High Distinction from the Ayurveda Institute UK and am a member of the Association of Ayurvedic Professionals UK.
Previously, I had a successful career in retail but over the lockdown years, I quickly realised something was not quite right with the world and observed the level of suffering in our communities. The aftermath of this has become even more apparent. Re-training in Ayurveda is my part in helping to alleviate suffering on a one-to-one basis. Using the Ayurvedic toolkit, I can now guide others to make meaningful changes in their physical, emotional and spiritual health.
I can help to identify root causes of a range disorders and provide a bespoke treatment plan including dietary & lifestyle advice in combination with herbal medicines.
As part of ongoing development, I am currently enrolled on the Level 2 Practitioners course with the Ayurveda Institute UK.
I am part of the Still House Clinic team in Egham working alongside a range of practitioners to support our community in being healthy and balanced.

About
What is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda, literally meaning 'Science of Life' is an ancient health system dating back 5,000 years. It defines that in order to be healthy all three doshas in each of us must be balanced. The three doshas are Vata, Pitta & Kapha, each made up of two of the five elements: ether, air, fire, water and earth.
“Samadosha, samagnischa samadhatumala kriyaha prasanna atmenindriya manaha swasthya ityabhidheeyate”
~Sushruta Samhita
This is the Ayurvedic explanation of health.
Balanced doshas (Vata, Pitta, Kapha); ensuring that the digestive fire (enzymes), tissues and waste processes are working in an orderly manner; and that the sensory organs, mind and soul are peaceful, these are the qualities of a healthy person.
